This bi-lingual musical production is produced with a joint company of mainland Chinese and  an American cast, performed both in English and Mandarin. The musical’s theatrical styles are reminiscent of Broadway American musical theatre and Peking Opera arts and techniques. The  musical has been acclaimed as highly entertaining not only because of its enchanting songs and choreographed dances, but also  for its stunning martial arts and acrobatic performances. The show was created for a Cultural Exchange Program performed both in Florida, America and Guizhou, China in 2006.  Over twenty thousand people have already witnessed “The Legend….”  The new 2009 production is expected to be presented in Houston and Sugar Land, Texas as well as Shenzhen in The Peoples Republic of China.

The Production illustrates a true collaboration between Chinese and American arts leaders and  performers.  Because it is a bilingual production, when the production performed in both nations – China and America -  the mutual audiences understand the musical and appreciate hearing each other’s languages.

Cultural Exchange: Based on the past Sino—US Cultural Exchange programs, along with the performing artists and staff, a small business and patron delegation accompany the troupe to each other’s country. In this way, along with supporting the performers, the business and patron delegation have  the opportunity to explore business opportunities in China and America. Following the  Cultural Exchange programs, many business delegations have been organized in both nations, building greater understanding along with mutual Trade and Commerce opportunities.
